There is so much more to wedding photography than showing up and making beautiful images. The work that matters most happens before the camera comes out. In understanding who you are as a couple, what your day actually means to you, and how to document it in a way that is fully yours.
My approach to wedding photography is documentary at its core and editorial in its eye. I don't choreograph moments; I create the conditions for them. I photograph on both film and digital, choosing the medium that serves each moment rather than defaulting to one. The result is a gallery that feels lived in and composed at the same time. Emotionally honest and visually elevated.

Whether you're planning a full wedding day or an entire weekend, I work slowly and thoughtfully on purpose. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, not because I have to, but because that's what genuine attention requires. My goal is to give every couple my highest quality of work, which means I need to actually know you before I photograph you.

My approach to wedding photography diverges from the traditional expectation. I don't want your wedding day to be about taking photos; I want the photos to be about your wedding day. My focus is on capturing genuine moments rather than staged ones. Being a documenter means capturing the truth of a moment, from the people, to the details, to the big and small things that add up to a day worth reliving.
An artistic touch is something I've developed over a decade. I love to experiment with flash, editorial techniques, and film mediums that create imagery unlike anything else, but my only real request is that you allow me to capture your day as truthfully as possible. Not to create something new, but to preserve something worth revisiting.

After a decade of photographing weddings and love stories, I've learned that understanding your vision in advance is what makes the wedding day itself feel seamless. I'm available to talk with you and your planner as much as you need. Leading up to the day, I'll collaborate with your team to make sure priorities (theirs and yours) are fully honored, and we'll review the timeline and talk through any concerns well before the wedding.
I genuinely love helping couples research locations, think through permits, plan for weather, and build contingencies. The questions I hear most: “What should we wear for our engagement session? When's the best light? I have this vision, how do we make it happen?” are questions I'm always glad to get. You deserve someone who shows up to the planning as well as the day itself.

Come wedding day, your only job will be to soak it all in. I’ll use our experience to flex with any shift in plans. And I will orchestrate picture-perfect moments without pulling you out of them.
Unlike traditional wedding photography, you won’t find anything formulaic about my approach or my collections. Instead, I’ll use you as our muse, and I’ll let your unique wedding selections guide our every decision. Depending on the size and scope of your party, I offer full day or entire weekend options.
