I'm Lauren! An Austin, Texas wedding photographer with a documentary eye and an editorial instinct, working in film and digital for couples who want photographs that feel as honest as the day itself. I photograph weddings across Texas, California, the Pacific Northwest, New York, Hawaii, Italy, and wherever couples are getting married and want their day documented with real attention.

I picked up a camera at 15 and never really put it down. Before photography became my full-time work, I earned my nursing license, a path I pursued seriously, and one that shaped how I approach everything I do now. Nurses learn to stay calm when it matters most, to read a room, to be present without being intrusive. It turns out those skills translate directly to photographing weddings.

In 2016 I photographed my first wedding, and every year since the work has become more refined and more meaningful. A turning point came when I had the opportunity to photograph gowns for Lovely Bride across the country. An experience that clarified what I actually wanted to be doing and gave me the confidence to pursue it without reservation. Lauren Nicole Photo has been my full-time work ever since, taking me to weddings across the U.S. and internationally through South America, Asia, and Europe.
