Set on the northwestern edge of Washington State's most beloved island, Roche Harbor is a historic resort and marina with manicured gardens, waterfront views, and a quiet, unhurried quality that's rare anywhere, let alone this close to Seattle. Getting here requires intention: a ferry ride, a small plane, or a boat. That effort filters your guest list down to exactly the people who mean the most and it shows in the photos.
This San Juan Island wedding was planned by the wonderful team at Revel San Juan, who know Roche Harbor as well as anyone. The day had the easy warmth of a garden party, romantic and classic, with a Pacific Northwest softness to the light that made every frame feel like a painting. The couple had a vision that was relaxed but refined, the kind of wedding where everything feels considered without feeling fussy. That balance is exactly what I love to photograph.
